Objective: The Certified Vendor Contract Manager course is designed to develop specialized skills in managing vendor relationships through effective contract development, negotiation, execution, and oversight. The course aims to empower participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to align vendor contracts with organizational goals, legal standards, and risk management frameworks.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Fundamentals of Vendor Contract Management: Introduction to Vendor Contracts and Outsourcing, Types of Vendor Agreements (SLA, MSA, NDA), Legal Principles Governing Vendor Contracts, Vendor Selection and Onboarding Processes, Understanding Buyer-Supplier Relationships, Roles and Responsibilities of a Vendor Contract Manager.
Module 2: Vendor Contract Drafting and Structuring: Key Clauses in Vendor Contracts (Scope, Payment, Delivery), Drafting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Incorporating Performance Metrics and KPIs, Risk Allocation and Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property and Confidentiality Provisions, Templates and Standard Contract Formats.
Module 3: Vendor Evaluation and Selection: Pre-qualification Criteria and RFP Process, Vendor Due Diligence and Risk Assessment, Commercial and Technical Evaluation Techniques, Scoring Models and Decision Matrices, Negotiating Vendor Terms Pre-contract, Ensuring Regulatory and Ethical Compliance in Selection.
Module 4: Vendor Contract Negotiation and Finalization: Contract Negotiation Strategies and Techniques, Building Win-Win Vendor Relationships, Common Negotiation Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them, Finalizing Contract Terms and Sign-offs, Internal Approvals and Legal Review Process, Use of Technology in Negotiation and E-Contracts.
Module 5: Vendor Performance and Risk Management: Monitoring Vendor Compliance and Deliverables, Conducting Performance Reviews and Audits, Managing Delays, Breaches, and Penalties, Change Requests and Amendments, Risk Mitigation Techniques in Vendor Management, Contract Renewal and Exit Planning.
Module 6: Legal and Ethical Aspects of Vendor Contracting: Contract Law Basics Relevant to Vendor Management, Handling Disputes and Litigation with Vendors, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Anti-bribery, Anti-corruption, and Ethical Procurement, Cross-border Vendor Contract Issues, Documentation, Record Keeping, and Compliance Standards.
