Objective:The Certified Textile Production Planner course is designed to provide participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to manage and coordinate the entire textile production workflow—from raw material procurement to final product delivery. The objective is to develop expertise in production planning techniques, capacity analysis, resource allocation, workflow management, and lean manufacturing practices specific to textile and apparel industries.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Textile Production Planning: Role of a production planner in the textile industry, Overview of textile manufacturing processes, Types of textile products and production systems, Basics of production planning and control (PPC), Coordination between departments (procurement, quality, logistics), Importance of time and resource management.
Module 2: Production Workflow and Process Mapping: Stages of production from fiber to finished product, Process flowcharts for spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing, Identification of bottlenecks and lead time analysis, Capacity planning and line balancing, Process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs), Production route planning and sequencing.
Module 3: Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Inventory Control: Concepts of MRP in textile production, Bill of materials (BOM) and consumption norms, Forecasting techniques for raw materials and trims, Inventory types and stock level management, Coordination with suppliers for timely material delivery, ERP tools and software for MRP.
Module 4: Scheduling, Monitoring, and Efficiency Tracking: Master production scheduling (MPS), Daily and weekly planning charts, Monitoring progress against targets and deadlines, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in production, Downtime analysis and efficiency improvement, Use of production dashboards and tracking tools.
Module 5: Quality, Compliance, and Cost Optimization: Quality checkpoints in textile production, Integration of quality planning with production planning, Compliance with safety and environmental standards, Waste reduction and cost control strategies, Root cause analysis for recurring production issues, Budgeting and cost estimation in production planning.
Module 6: Practical Case Studies and Industry Readiness: Real-world production planning case studies, Handling bulk orders and seasonal demand fluctuations, Communication and leadership in planning roles, Digital tools and software used in production planning, Resume development and job interview skills, Career opportunities in textile manufacturing and planning.
