Objective: The Certified Textile Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Professional course aims to equip participants with advanced skills in using CAD software tailored for textile design and production. The course covers digital pattern making, fabric simulation, color management, repeat design, and integration with manufacturing processes. Participants will learn to create precise and innovative textile designs, optimize workflows, and collaborate effectively with production teams using industry-standard CAD tools.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Textile CAD: Overview of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in Textiles, History and Evolution of Textile CAD Systems, Role of CAD in the Textile Industry, Key Features and Tools of Textile CAD Software, Benefits of Using CAD for Textile Design, Industry Applications of Textile CAD (Fashion, Home Décor, etc.).
Module 2: Textile Design Software and Tools: Overview of Leading Textile CAD Software (TUKAcad, Lectra, Gerber, etc.), Basic Tools and Features in CAD Software, Understanding Interface and Workspace in CAD Tools, Creating and Editing Textile Patterns Using CAD, Advanced Tools for Design Development (Texture Mapping, 3D Visualization), File Formats and Data Exchange in Textile CAD.
Module 3: Pattern Making and Grading with CAD: Principles of Pattern Making in Textile Design, Creating Patterns Using CAD Software, Pattern Layout Techniques and Fabric Efficiency, Grading Patterns for Various Sizes, Managing Pattern Files and Revisions, Integrating CAD Patterns with Production Systems (CAM).
Module 4: Color Management and Printing with CAD: Color Theory and Application in CAD Design, Managing Color Palettes and Libraries in Textile CAD, Creating Colorways and Fabric Simulations, Integrating Digital Printing Techniques with CAD, Color Separation and File Preparation for Textile Printing, Managing Color Consistency and Accuracy in Designs.
Module 5: 3D Visualization and Textile Prototyping: Introduction to 3D Design and Prototyping in CAD, Using CAD for Virtual Sampling and Prototype Development, Simulating Textiles and Fabrics in 3D, Virtual Draping and Fabric Behavior Simulation, Rendering for Realistic Fabric Visualization, Enhancing CAD Designs with Realistic Lighting and Textures.
Module 6: Integration of CAD with Manufacturing and Industry Standards: Linking CAD with CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), Integrating CAD Files with Production and Cutting Machines, Using CAD for Costing and Production Planning, Understanding Industry Standards and Conventions in CAD Design, Streamlining Workflow from Design to Production, Future Trends in CAD for Textile Design and Manufacturing.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
