Objective: The Certified School Safety & Crisis Response Manager course is designed to equip education professionals with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to create and maintain safe school environments and effectively manage crisis situations. The course covers risk assessment, emergency preparedness, crisis communication, incident response, trauma-informed practices, legal and ethical considerations, and recovery planning.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of School Safety Management: Overview of school safety principles, Roles and responsibilities of a safety manager, Risk assessment and hazard identification in schools, Legal and regulatory requirements, Creating a culture of safety and prevention, Ethical considerations in school safety.
Module 2: Emergency Preparedness Planning: Developing comprehensive emergency response plans, Crisis management frameworks, Coordination with local emergency services, Communication protocols during emergencies, Training staff and students for emergencies, Conducting drills and simulations.
Module 3: Crisis Response and Incident Management: Immediate response procedures for various crises, Incident command system in schools, Evacuation and lockdown procedures, Managing communication during a crisis, Providing psychological first aid, Documentation and reporting of incidents.
Module 4: Security Measures and Technology: Physical security infrastructure (access control, surveillance), Use of technology in school safety, Visitor management systems, Cybersecurity basics for schools, Monitoring and threat detection tools, Balancing security and a welcoming environment.
Module 5: Post-Crisis Recovery and Support: Post-incident evaluation and debriefing, Supporting victims and affected communities, Counseling and mental health resources, Restoring school operations, Communication with media and stakeholders, Lessons learned and continuous improvement.
Module 6: Policy Development and Compliance: Creating and updating school safety policies, Compliance with local and national regulations, Collaborating with school boards and law enforcement, Training programs and professional development, Auditing and monitoring safety practices, Emerging trends in school safety management.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
