Objective: The Certified Public Health Data Specialist course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to collect, manage, analyze, and interpret public health data to support evidence-based decision-making. The program focuses on understanding epidemiology, health informatics, biostatistics, and data visualization, enabling participants to monitor population health, identify trends, and inform policy and program planning.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Data Collection and Management: Methods of data collection in public health, Surveys, field data, and health records, Data entry, cleaning, and validation, Data coding and standardization, Metadata management, Data privacy and security protocols
Module 3: Epidemiology and Biostatistics for Public Health: Basic principles of epidemiology, Descriptive and inferential statistics, Disease surveillance and monitoring, Measuring health indicators and outcomes, Risk assessment and population health metrics, Statistical software for public health data analysis
Module 4: Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyzing public health datasets, Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations, Visualization techniques for public health data, Interpreting results for policy and decision-making, Reporting and documentation standards, Communicating findings to stakeholders and the public
Module 5: Health Information Systems and Technology: Electronic health records (EHR) and public health databases, Health information exchange systems, Data integration and interoperability, Use of analytics platforms and dashboards, GIS and spatial data in public health, Emerging technologies in public health data management
Module 6: Quality, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement: Data quality assurance and validation, Compliance with regulations and standards (HIPAA, GDPR), Risk management and error mitigation, Monitoring and evaluation of public health programs, Continuous improvement of data processes, Professional development and ethical practice in public health data
