Objective: The Certified Outdoor & Experiential Learning Facilitator course is designed to prepare educators, trainers, and facilitators to design and deliver impactful outdoor and experiential learning experiences. The program covers the principles and benefits of experiential education, outdoor learning theories, risk management, group dynamics, activity planning, and facilitation techniques that engage learners actively.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Outdoor and Experiential Learning: Definition and principles of outdoor learning, History and evolution of experiential education, Benefits of learning in natural environments, Theories supporting experiential learning, Role of the facilitator, Ethical and environmental considerations.
Module 2: Planning and Designing Experiential Learning Activities: Assessing learner needs and goals, Designing learner-centered activities, Incorporating risk management and safety, Aligning activities with learning outcomes, Using natural resources creatively, Adapting activities for diverse groups.
Module 3: Facilitation Skills for Outdoor Learning: Effective communication and group management, Encouraging reflection and critical thinking, Managing group dynamics and conflicts, Using questioning techniques to deepen learning, Motivating and engaging participants, Observing and providing constructive feedback.
Module 4: Health, Safety, and Risk Management: Identifying potential hazards in outdoor settings, Conducting risk assessments, Emergency preparedness and response, First aid basics for facilitators, Legal and ethical responsibilities, Promoting safe and inclusive environments.
Module 5: Assessment and Evaluation in Experiential Learning: Tools for assessing learning in outdoor contexts, Reflective journals and portfolios, Peer and self-assessment strategies, Measuring personal and group development, Using feedback for program improvement, Reporting and documenting outcomes.
Module 6: Professional Development and Advocacy: Building partnerships with schools and communities, Continuing education and skill-building, Advocating for outdoor learning programs, Staying updated with research and trends, Developing resources and materials, Promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
