Objective: The Certified Logistics/Warehousing Facility Construction Manager course is designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge required to plan, design, and manage the construction of logistics and warehousing facilities. Participants will learn about site selection, facility layout, material handling systems, storage solutions, safety and regulatory compliance, and project scheduling.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Logistics and Warehousing Construction: Role and responsibilities of a logistics/warehousing construction manager, Overview of logistics and warehouse facility types, Importance of operational efficiency and workflow design, Key stakeholders in construction projects, Industry standards and regulatory compliance, Trends and innovations in warehouse construction
Module 2: Planning and Design of Warehousing Facilities: Site selection and feasibility analysis, Layout planning for storage, material handling, and workflow, Structural design considerations for warehouses, Integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, Safety and accessibility design standards, Sustainability and green building considerations
Module 3: Construction Project Management: Project scheduling and milestone planning, Resource allocation and labor management, Budgeting and cost control, Procurement of materials and equipment, Coordination with contractors and subcontractors, Monitoring project progress and reporting
Module 4: Material Handling Systems and Technology Integration: Overview of conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), pallet racking and shelving solutions, Integration of warehouse management systems (WMS) and technology, Automation for efficiency and safety, Maintenance and operational considerations
Module 5: Quality Assurance, Safety, and Compliance: Construction quality control procedures, Safety standards and protocols for warehouse construction, Risk assessment and mitigation, Inspection and testing of structural and operational components, Regulatory compliance and certification, Documentation and reporting practices
