Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Logistics Safety Officer course aims to prepare professionals to effectively manage and enforce safety standards across all logistics and supply chain operations. The course focuses on hazard identification, risk assessment, regulatory compliance (such as OSHA, DOT, and local transport laws), incident prevention strategies, emergency response planning, and accident investigation procedures.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Logistics Safety: Overview of Logistics and Supply Chain Operations, Importance of Safety in Logistics, Roles and Responsibilities of a Logistics Safety Officer, Safety Regulations and Standards in Logistics, Common Hazards in Warehousing and Transport, Safety Culture and Behavior-Based Safety.
Module 2: Risk Assessment and Hazard Control: Identifying Hazards in Logistics Operations, Risk Assessment Techniques and Tools, Hazard Control Hierarchy, Implementation of Control Measures, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) in Logistics Tasks, Safety Signage and Communication.
Module 3: Warehouse and Material Handling Safety: Safe Warehouse Layout and Design Principles, Storage Safety for Different Types of Goods, Manual Handling and Ergonomics, Equipment Safety (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Conveyors), Fire Safety and Emergency Exits, Housekeeping and Spill Control.
Module 4: Transport and Vehicle Safety: Driver and Vehicle Safety Protocols, Pre-Trip Inspections and Maintenance Checks, Loading and Unloading Safety, Hazardous Material Transport Safety (HAZMAT), Traffic Management and Route Planning, Accident Reporting and Investigation.
Module 5: Safety Training and Compliance: Developing Safety Training Programs for Staff, Toolbox Talks and Safety Drills, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Usage and Management, Legal and Regulatory Compliance (OSHA, ISO 45001), Documentation and Record-Keeping, Audits and Safety Inspections.
Module 6: Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management: Emergency Response Planning in Logistics Operations, Fire and Chemical Spill Response Procedures, First Aid and Incident Response Teams, Incident Reporting and Root Cause Analysis, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Continuous Improvement in Safety Practices.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
