Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The objective of the Certified Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician course is to equip participants with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The course covers system components, refrigeration cycles, airflow management, electrical controls, diagnostic tools, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: HVAC Fundamentals: Basic principles of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, Thermodynamics and refrigeration cycle, Types of HVAC systems, HVAC components and their functions, Safety practices and personal protective equipment (PPE), Overview of HVAC industry standards and codes.
Module 2: Heating Systems: Types of heating systems (furnaces, boilers, heat pumps), Combustion principles and fuel types, Heating system installation and operation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of heating equipment, Controls and safety devices for heating systems, Energy efficiency in heating.
Module 3: Cooling Systems: Principles of air conditioning and refrigeration, Types of cooling systems and equipment, Refrigerants and environmental regulations, Installation of cooling units and components, Troubleshooting cooling system issues, Preventive maintenance for cooling systems.
Module 4: Air Distribution and Ventilation: Duct design and airflow principles, Air filtration and indoor air quality, Installation of ductwork and ventilation systems, Balancing and testing airflow, Troubleshooting air distribution problems, Energy conservation in ventilation systems.
Module 5: Electrical and Controls: Electrical fundamentals for HVAC, Wiring and electrical components, HVAC control systems and thermostats, Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) basics, Troubleshooting electrical and control issues, Safety and code compliance in electrical work.
Module 6: Maintenance, Safety, and Professional Practices: Routine maintenance procedures and schedules, Use of diagnostic tools and instruments, Safety protocols and OSHA regulations, Handling refrigerants and hazardous materials, Customer service and communication skills, Continuing education and certification renewal.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
