Objective: The Certified Art Trainer/Painting Instructor course is designed to develop skilled educators who can effectively teach painting techniques across various mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, and oil. The program focuses on enhancing participants’ artistic abilities while also equipping them with pedagogical strategies to plan, organize, and deliver engaging art lessons to diverse learner groups. Trainees will gain a deep understanding of color theory, composition, brushwork, and styles, along with the ability to assess and nurture students’ creative development.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Foundations of Art and Painting: History of Art and Painting, Understanding Art Elements (Line, Shape, Form), Principles of Design (Balance, Contrast), Color Theory Basics, Types of Painting Mediums, Introduction to Brushes and Tools.
Module 2: Drawing Skills for Painting: Basic Sketching Techniques, Proportion and Perspective, Contour and Gesture Drawing, Light and Shadow Fundamentals, Texture Representation, Preparing Sketches for Painting.
Module 3: Painting Techniques and Styles: Acrylic Painting Techniques, Oil Painting Basics, Watercolor Methods, Mixed Media Painting, Exploring Different Painting Styles (Realism, Impressionism, Abstract), Layering and Blending Techniques.
Module 4: Color Theory and Application: Color Mixing and Matching, Understanding Warm and Cool Colors, Using Color to Create Mood, Complementary and Analogous Colors, Color Harmonies in Composition, Correcting Color Mistakes.
Module 5: Teaching Methodologies and Classroom Management: Lesson Planning for Art Classes, Demonstration Techniques, Student Engagement Strategies, Assessing Artistic Progress, Handling Different Skill Levels, Creating a Positive Learning Environment.
Module 6: Professional Development and Career Guidance: Building a Teaching Portfolio, Art Exhibition and Presentation Skills, Marketing Yourself as an Art Trainer, Organizing Workshops and Art Camps, Networking and Collaboration, Continuing Education and Certification Updates.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
