Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: This course provides in-depth training on the use of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technology in the apparel industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience with CAM software and tools used to optimize the manufacturing process, from design to production. Key topics include pattern making, grading, marker making, and fabric cutting through CAM systems.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to CAM in Apparel Manufacturing: Overview of CAM Technology in the Apparel Industry, Role of a CAM Technician in Apparel Production, Understanding the Apparel Manufacturing Workflow, Key Tools and Software Used in CAM for Apparel (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, etc.), Importance of Automation in Garment Manufacturing, Evolution and Future of CAM in Apparel Production.
Module 2: CAM Software and Systems: Introduction to CAM Software and its Integration with CAD (Computer-Aided Design), Working with Pattern Digitizing and Nesting Software, Software Tools for Fabric Cutting, Marker Making and Efficiency, Setting Up and Configuring CAM Systems for Apparel Production, Troubleshooting Common Software and Hardware Issues in CAM Systems.
Module 3: Digital Pattern Making and Grading: Understanding Digital Pattern Making and Grading, Creating and Modifying Patterns Using CAM Software, Grading Patterns to Different Sizes, Calculating and Adjusting Fit using CAM, Integrating Design Data from CAD to CAM, Ensuring Pattern Accuracy and Consistency in CAM.
Module 4: Fabric Cutting and Marker Making: Introduction to Fabric Cutting Methods (Manual, Automated, Laser Cutting), Marker Making Techniques and Software, Optimizing Fabric Usage Through Efficient Marker Layouts, Preparing Fabric for Cutting with CAM Systems, Managing Fabric Defects and Alignment Issues in CAM Cutting, Quality Control and Inspection of Cut Fabrics.
Module 5: Production Workflow and Automation in CAM: Optimizing Production Workflow Using CAM Systems, Integration of CAM with Other Manufacturing Systems (ERP, MES), Automating Repetitive Processes in Garment Manufacturing, Managing and Monitoring Production Efficiency, Reducing Fabric Waste and Improving Yield Through CAM, Ensuring Consistency and Accuracy in Automated Manufacturing.
Module 6: Quality Assurance and Maintenance of CAM Systems: Ensuring Quality in CAM-Driven Apparel Production, Monitoring and Evaluating the Output of CAM Systems, Regular Maintenance of CAM Hardware and Software, Calibration and Adjustments for Accuracy, Implementing Preventive Maintenance to Avoid Downtime, Troubleshooting and Resolving Common CAM System Issues.

- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
