Objective: The Certified Analyst Cybersecurity for Online Learning Environments course is designed to equip education technology professionals, administrators, and security analysts with the knowledge and skills to protect online learning platforms from cyber threats and ensure data privacy and integrity. The course covers cybersecurity principles, threat identification, risk assessment, network security, data encryption, identity and access management, incident response, and compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Fundamentals of Cybersecurity in Online Learning: Introduction to Cybersecurity Principles, Threat Landscape in Online Education, Understanding Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA Triad), Common Cyber Attacks on Learning Platforms, Cybersecurity Regulations and Compliance, Roles and Responsibilities of a Cybersecurity Analyst.
Module 2: Security Architecture and Risk Management: Designing Secure Online Learning Environments, Risk Assessment and Management Techniques, Security Policies and Procedures, Access Control Models, Network Security Fundamentals, Incident Response Planning.
Module 3: Authentication and Identity Management: User Authentication Methods (Passwords, MFA, Biometrics), Identity and Access Management (IAM) Systems, Single Sign-On (SSO) Technologies, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Managing User Privileges and Permissions, Detecting and Preventing Identity Theft.
Module 4: Threat Detection and Vulnerability Management: Types of Vulnerabilities in Online Learning Systems, Vulnerability Scanning Tools and Techniques, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Analyzing Security Logs and Alerts, Handling Phishing and Social Engineering Attacks, Patch Management Best Practices.
Module 5: Data Protection and Privacy: Data Encryption Methods, Secure Data Storage and Transmission, Privacy Laws Impacting Online Education (FERPA, GDPR, etc.), Data Backup and Recovery Strategies, Protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Managing Cloud Security Risks.
Module 6: Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Setting Up Security Monitoring Tools, Incident Detection and Reporting Procedures, Conducting Forensic Investigations, Mitigation and Containment Strategies, Post-Incident Analysis and Reporting, Continuous Improvement and Security Audits.
