Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Fashion Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Designer course aims to equip participants with advanced technical skills to create and modify fashion designs using industry-standard CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and specialized fashion design tools. The course covers digital sketching, pattern making, fabric simulation, color rendering, tech pack creation, and integration with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Fashion CAD: Introduction to CAD Software, Basic Drawing Tools and Functions, Understanding the User Interface, Working with Layers, Grids, and Guidelines, Introduction to 2D and 3D Modeling, File Management and Saving Formats.
Module 2: Basic Drawing and Design Techniques: Creating Basic Shapes and Figures, Drawing Lines and Curves, Modifying Objects, Tools for Sketching and Rendering, Working with Color Palettes, Using Textures and Materials for Fabrics.
Module 3: Apparel Design and Pattern Making: Introduction to Fashion Design, Creating Basic Fashion Illustrations, Understanding Pattern Making, Using CAD for Pattern Design, Digital Draping and Simulation, Creating Technical Flats and Specifications.
Module 4: Fabric Simulation and Textures: Importing and Applying Fabrics, Using Textures and Patterns in CAD, Working with Fabric Simulation Tools, Adjusting Fabric Properties, Rendering Fabric Materials Realistically, Digital Fabric and Garment Visualization.
Module 5: Garment Construction and 3D Modeling: 3D Garment Construction Techniques, Working with Virtual Models, Creating and Editing Garment Patterns, 3D Draping Simulation, Analyzing Fit and Design, Virtual Prototyping for Fashion.
Module 6: Production and Presentation Techniques: Finalizing Designs for Production, Creating Tech Packs and Specifications, Preparing Files for Manufacturing, Presentation Tools in CAD, Creating Design Portfolios, Exporting and Sharing Files with Clients or Manufacturers.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
