Objective: This course is designed to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to oversee and ensure the quality of garments throughout the production process. Participants will learn about industry standards, testing methods, and quality control procedures specific to apparel manufacturing. The curriculum covers key topics such as fabric quality assessment, garment construction inspection, compliance with international standards, and the use of various quality assurance tools and technologies.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Apparel Quality Assurance: Overview of Quality Assurance in the Apparel Industry, Role and Responsibilities of a QA Professional, Key Quality Standards and Certifications (ISO, AQL, ASTM, etc.), Importance of QA in Apparel Production, Understanding Customer Expectations and Brand Quality Standards, Difference Between Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA).
Module 2: Quality Planning and Control in Apparel Manufacturing: Developing a Quality Assurance Plan for Apparel, Identifying Quality Control Checkpoints in the Production Process, Establishing Quality Specifications and Standards, Creating and Maintaining Quality Documentation, Developing Inspection and Testing Protocols, Managing Non-Conformance and Defects.
Module 3: Fabric Quality and Testing Methods: Understanding Fabric Types and Their Impact on Quality, Testing Fabrics for Durability, Colorfastness, and Shrinkage, Conducting Fabric Inspections (Visual and Physical Testing), Using Standardized Testing Methods (ISO, AATCC), Fabric Certification and Compliance Requirements, Managing Fabric Defects and Sourcing Issues.
Module 4: Garment Inspection and Testing: Conducting In-line, Pre-shipment, and Final Inspections, Visual and Physical Inspection of Garments for Defects (Stitching, Seams, Zippers, etc.), Understanding Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) for Garments, Testing Garment Durability (Tensile Strength, Seam Strength, etc.), Managing Fit, Size, and Measurement Inspections, Implementing and Reporting Test Results for Continuous Improvement.
Module 5: Quality Auditing and Supplier Management: Performing Supplier Audits and Assessments, Evaluating Supplier Quality Management Systems, Conducting Factory and Process Audits, Setting Up and Managing Supplier Relationships for Consistent Quality, Managing the Supply Chain for Quality Assurance, Identifying and Mitigating Quality Risks in Sourcing and Production.
Module 6: Continuous Improvement and Quality Reporting: Implementing Continuous Improvement Processes in Apparel Manufacturing (Kaizen, Six Sigma), Analyzing Data for Quality Insights (Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis), Reporting QA Findings to Management and Stakeholders, Conducting Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Using Quality Tools (Control Charts, Fishbone Diagrams), Ensuring QA Compliance for Export and Import Regulations.
