The course focuses on introducing learners to motion design techniques for creating animated titles, logo reveals, explainer videos, kinetic typography, and promotional content for digital platforms.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Motion Graphics and Animation Principles: Understanding motion graphics and its applications, Difference between motion graphics, animation, and video editing, Overview of motion design workflow and terminology, Basic principles of animation (timing, easing, squash & stretch), File formats and resolution standards for video, Role of storyboarding and concept development.

Module 2: Design Basics for Motion Graphics: Understanding layout, composition, and visual hierarchy in motion design, Typography for motion graphics, Using colors, gradients, and shapes effectively, Creating style frames and visual references, Graphic design fundamentals for screen, Working with icons, vectors, and imagery for animation.

Module 3: Tools and Software for Motion Design: Introduction to Adobe After Effects interface and tools, Working with layers, keyframes, and compositions, Basic animation techniques using transform properties, Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for asset preparation, Importing and organizing assets in After Effects, Exporting animations for web and social media.

Module 4: Text, Shape, and Logo Animation: Animating text with presets and custom keyframes, Shape layer animation and path morphing, Creating animated icons and simple transitions, Logo reveal animation techniques, Timing and rhythm in motion typography, Working with masks and mattes.

Module 5: Effects, Transitions, and Audio Integration: Applying and customizing effects and presets, Creating seamless transitions between scenes, Introduction to motion tracking and stabilization, Using expressions for automation, Syncing animations with audio and music, Exporting videos with audio for various platforms.

Module 6: Project Development and Portfolio Creation: Planning and executing a basic motion graphics project, Creating animated social media posts and explainer titles, Best practices for feedback and revisions, Rendering for different platforms (MP4, MOV, GIF), Building a motion graphics showreel, Presenting projects as part of a junior-level portfolio.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
