Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Logo Designer course is crafted to equip learners with the conceptual, artistic, and technical skills necessary to create impactful and memorable logos that effectively represent brand identity. The course covers logo design principles such as simplicity, scalability, versatility, relevance, and uniqueness. Learners will explore different logo types (wordmarks, lettermarks, symbols, emblems, and combination marks), branding strategy, color psychology, typography selection, and the logo design process—from client brief to final delivery.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Logo Design and Branding: Understanding the role of logos in brand identity, Types of logos (wordmark, lettermark, pictorial, abstract, emblem, combination mark), Key principles of effective logo design (simplicity, memorability, versatility, relevance, scalability), Evolution and history of iconic logos, The design brief: client goals, audience, and market positioning, Branding basics and logo placement across media.
Module 2: Research, Concept Development, and Ideation: Conducting brand, competitor, and industry research, Brainstorming techniques and idea generation for logo concepts, Sketching and refining logo ideas manually and digitally, Mood boards and visual direction planning, Creating a brand story and logo rationale, Selecting the most effective concept for execution.
Module 3: Typography and Symbolism in Logo Design: Choosing and customizing typefaces for logos, Letterform exploration and ligature techniques, Using negative space, symbolism, and iconography, Aligning typography style with brand message, Creating logotypes and monograms, Merging type and graphic elements seamlessly.
Module 4: Color Theory, Shapes, and Logo Composition: Color psychology and emotion in branding, Building a cohesive logo color palette, Geometric shapes and organic forms in logo design, Creating balanced compositions with grids and alignment, Designing logos in black-and-white and full color, Testing logo legibility and contrast across backgrounds.
Module 5: Tools, Techniques, and File Preparation: Designing vector logos using Adobe Illustrator or similar tools, Working with paths, anchor points, and shape tools, Creating scalable and responsive logo versions (horizontal, vertical, icon-only), Exporting logos in multiple formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, PDF), Creating brand identity guides and logo usage manuals, Preparing files for print, web, and clients.
Module 6: Client Work, Revisions, and Portfolio Development: Working with client feedback and making revisions professionally, Presenting logo concepts and mockups effectively, Finalizing and delivering logo packages with documentation, Real-world logo design projects and case studies, Building a compelling logo design portfolio, Showcasing logo applications across branding materials and digital platforms.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
