Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Digital Video Producer course is designed to train learners in the end-to-end process of creating compelling video content specifically for digital platforms such as YouTube, social media, e-learning portals, OTT, and brand websites. The course covers ideation, scripting, storyboarding, camera operation, lighting, audio recording, directing, editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Digital Video Production: Understanding the role of a digital video producer in today’s media landscape, Types of digital video content: branded content, social media videos, YouTube series, educational content, OTT and web shows, Overview of production stages: pre-production, production, post-production, Equipment essentials: cameras, audio gear, lighting, and accessories, Understanding video formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, and codecs, Legal and ethical considerations: copyrights, releases, and permissions.
Module 2: Pre-Production Planning and Script Development: Concept development, ideation, and creative treatment writing, Writing scripts, shot lists, and storyboards for digital video formats, Budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for small to mid-sized shoots, Talent casting, crew hiring, and location scouting, Creating production documents: call sheets, release forms, and breakdowns, Setting up cloud collaboration tools and communication workflows.
Module 3: Video Shooting and On-Set Production Management: Camera setup, framing, exposure, and movement for digital platforms, Managing lighting setups for different environments and moods, Audio recording techniques for dialogue, ambiance, and interviews, Directing talent and managing on-set communication, Shooting for multiple platforms: horizontal, vertical, square formats, Maintaining continuity, quality checks, and real-time footage backups.
Module 4: Post-Production Workflow and Editing: Importing and organizing footage using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, Editing timelines, transitions, and sync of audio/video, Color correction and grading to enhance visual appeal, Adding titles, lower-thirds, and animated elements, Sound design, background score, and voiceover integration, Exporting videos in optimal formats for web, social, and streaming.
Module 5: Digital Platforms, Optimization, and Distribution: Understanding platform-specific requirements: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Encoding and compressing videos for faster playback and quality retention, Creating thumbnails, captions, and metadata for discoverability, Video SEO strategies and algorithm-friendly content formatting, Livestream video production tools and workflows, Distribution planning and analytics tracking for engagement.
Module 6: Capstone Project and Career Development: Planning and producing a complete digital video project from idea to upload, Portfolio development with case studies and project documentation, Best practices for presenting video work to clients and employers, Freelancing, content studio, and in-house opportunities in digital video, Collaboration with editors, marketers, and social media teams, Staying updated with trends in vertical video, AI editing, and immersive storytelling.
