Objective: The Certified Carbon Management Specialist course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills to assess carbon emissions, implement reduction strategies, and navigate carbon regulations and markets. The program covers carbon accounting methodologies, greenhouse gas (GHG) protocols, carbon footprint analysis, carbon offsetting, and sustainability reporting.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Carbon Management: Overview of climate change and greenhouse gases, Carbon footprint concepts and calculation, Global carbon emissions trends, Role of carbon management in sustainability, Key stakeholders and regulatory bodies, Importance of carbon management for businesses.
Module 2: Carbon Accounting and Reporting: Carbon accounting principles and standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064), Measuring and quantifying emissions, Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions explained, Data collection and management, Reporting frameworks and disclosures (CDP, TCFD), Verification and auditing processes.
Module 3: Carbon Reduction Strategies: Energy efficiency improvements, Renewable energy adoption, Process optimization, Sustainable supply chain management, Waste reduction and circular economy, Behavioral change and employee engagement.
Module 4: Carbon Offsetting and Trading: Understanding carbon offsets and credits, Types of carbon offset projects, Voluntary vs compliance carbon markets, Carbon trading mechanisms and platforms, Evaluating offset quality and impact, Legal and ethical considerations.
Module 5: Regulatory and Policy Frameworks: International agreements (Paris Agreement, Kyoto Protocol), National and regional carbon policies, Carbon taxes and cap-and-trade systems, Reporting compliance requirements, Incentives and subsidies, Future trends in carbon regulation.
Module 6: Carbon Management Consulting and Implementation: Developing carbon management plans, Client engagement and needs assessment, Project management for carbon initiatives, Communication and stakeholder management, Monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement, Case studies and best practices.
