Objective: The Certified Early Literacy & Numeracy Facilitator course is designed to equip educators and facilitators with the knowledge and skills to effectively teach foundational literacy and numeracy concepts to young learners. The program covers early childhood development principles, instructional strategies for reading, writing, and basic math skills, assessment techniques, and the use of engaging, age-appropriate materials and activities.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Foundations of Early Literacy Development: Stages of literacy development in young children, Phonemic awareness and phonics, Vocabulary building and language acquisition, Role of storytelling and reading aloud, Literacy-rich environments, Assessing early literacy skills.
Module 2: Early Numeracy Concepts and Skills: Understanding number sense and counting principles, Recognizing shapes and patterns, Developing measurement and spatial awareness, Introduction to basic operations (addition, subtraction), Using manipulatives and visual aids, Assessing early numeracy skills.
Module 3: Instructional Strategies for Literacy: Multisensory approaches to teaching literacy, Using games and activities to enhance reading skills, Supporting emergent writing and handwriting, Differentiating instruction for diverse learners, Incorporating technology and digital tools, Engaging families in literacy development.
Module 4: Instructional Strategies for Numeracy: Hands-on learning and exploratory activities, Teaching problem-solving and critical thinking, Integrating numeracy with daily routines, Using story problems and real-life examples, Supporting learners with numeracy difficulties, Utilizing technology to support numeracy learning.
Module 5: Creating Supportive Learning Environments: Designing literacy and numeracy centers, Organizing materials and resources, Encouraging collaborative learning, Promoting a growth mindset in learners, Managing classroom behavior effectively, Incorporating culturally responsive practices.
Module 6: Assessment, Monitoring, and Professional Growth: Formative and summative assessment techniques, Using observation and documentation tools, Interpreting assessment data to inform instruction, Providing constructive feedback to learners and families, Reflective practice and continuous improvement, Staying current with early literacy and numeracy research.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
