The program focuses on understanding fire hazards, risk assessment, fire prevention, emergency response planning, and compliance with national fire safety standards and healthcare regulations.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Fire Safety in Hospitals: Overview of fire safety and prevention, Roles and responsibilities of a hospital fire safety manager, Importance of fire safety in healthcare facilities, Legal and regulatory framework, Fire safety standards and guidelines, Ethical and professional responsibilities in emergency management
Module 2: Fire Science and Hazard Identification: Principles of fire and combustion, Types and classes of fire, Common fire hazards in hospitals, Flammable and combustible materials handling, Fire detection and alarm systems, Identifying high-risk areas and equipment
Module 3: Fire Safety Systems and Equipment: Fire extinguishers and their types, Sprinkler and suppression systems, Smoke detectors and alarms, Emergency lighting and exit signage, Fire doors and containment systems, Inspection and maintenance of fire safety equipment
Module 4: Emergency Response and Evacuation Planning: Developing hospital fire emergency plans, Evacuation routes and procedures, Roles and responsibilities of staff during fire incidents, Conducting fire drills and simulations, Patient evacuation protocols, Coordination with local fire services and emergency responders
Module 5: Training, Awareness, and Staff Management: Staff training on fire safety procedures, Fire prevention awareness programs, Assigning fire wardens and responsibilities, Monitoring staff compliance with safety protocols, Conducting refresher sessions and workshops, Promoting a culture of fire safety within the hospital
Module 6: Risk Assessment, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement: Fire risk assessment methodologies, Identifying and mitigating fire risks, Compliance with national and international fire safety regulations, Documentation and reporting of fire safety measures, Continuous monitoring and auditing of fire safety systems, Implementing improvements and updates based on risk evaluations
