Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Master Yoga Teacher (CMYT) Certification is designed to provide advanced training in the philosophy, practice, and teaching of yoga. It focuses on deepening the understanding of yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and holistic wellness while integrating anatomy, physiology, and alignment principles.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Yoga: History and philosophy of yoga, Overview of major yoga traditions (Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini), Understanding Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita, Eight limbs of yoga, Principles of mind-body connection, Ethics and lifestyle of a yoga practitioner
Module 2: Advanced Asana Practice: Alignment and posture correction, Advanced asanas for strength and flexibility, Sequencing techniques for classes, Modifications and adaptations for students, Preventing injuries and safety guidelines, Integration of breath with movement
Module 3: Pranayama and Breathwork: Techniques of pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Kapalabhati, Bhastrika, etc.), Effects of pranayama on physiology and mind, Advanced breath control methods, Breath awareness and meditation integration, Therapeutic applications of pranayama, Guidelines and contraindications
Module 4: Meditation and Mindfulness: Techniques of meditation (Vipassana, Guided, Mantra, Chakra), Mindfulness practices in daily life, Mental clarity and emotional regulation, Meditation for stress management, Use of visualization and concentration, Creating meditation programs for students
Module 5: Yoga Anatomy and Physiology: Human musculoskeletal and nervous systems, Respiratory and circulatory systems in yoga practice, Understanding energy channels and chakras, Effects of yoga on different body systems, Preventing injuries through anatomy knowledge, Functional anatomy for teaching advanced students
Module 6: Yoga Teaching Methodology and Leadership: Class planning and lesson sequencing, Communication and motivational skills, Adapting yoga for special populations, Ethics and professional conduct, Mentorship and teacher development, Building a yoga community and business strategies
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
